Hippopotamus

A hippopotamus, or hippo, is a very large and heavy animal that can weigh up to 1,500 kg (3,300 lb). Hippos are physically very similar to pigs because they are shaped like huge barrels with wide torsos, short legs, hairless bodies and prominent, protruded heads. Besides their legs, the ears and eyes are tiny too, while the snouts are long with wide-opening mouths and large tusks. Hippos’ bodies are of dark brownish-reddish color.
