Walrus

A walrus is a large animal that belongs to the group of seals. They are so big that they can weigh up to 2,000 kg (4,400 lb). Their bodies are stout, bulky and heavy. The brownish coat is covered with very short fur, so they appear to be bald. What is really interesting about walruses, is their tusks – long and curved teeth that come out of their mouths. They also have thick white whiskers. However, they do not have necks and their heads, eyes and ears are tiny, almost invisible. The snouts are very large and their feet look like long and flat flippers.
